Online business is growing at a very fast pace. Your website plays the role of your organization on the web. It is important that your website is designed efficiently so that you can have the maximum number of customers as well as the maximum number of sales. To achieve this you need to have a clear navigation map. This will allow your users to navigate around with ease. The easier your website is to navigate around the lesser the confusion will be. Your navigation menus should be orderly arranged as well as concise and clear to understand.

The number of images on your website always determines how long it will take to load a site. Keeping this in mind only add necessary images with small dimensions. You can always use an image editing program for this purpose and trim down the necessary images to a minimum file size.

If your website includes text paragraphs make sure that they are of shorter length. In case they are too long, you can always separately place them in text blocks of smaller size. Your customers will prefer to read small paragraphs. This might seem unimportant but if the blocks are too long your customer will be discouraged to read the text.

The next step to consider is making your website compatible. You should make it compatible with the different web browsers available. Be sure that your website looks great in all the browsers available. Some people use internet explorer while others prefer fire fox, so your website should look great in all of them.

You should avoid usage of script language. Use script language only where it is necessary to use such as to manipulate or handle data but avoid it using for visual effects. Heavy scripts always increase loading of a website and even results in crashing in some browser. It should also be noted that script language is not supported in all the browser which can result in visitors missing important contents.

You can always use a CSS to design your webpage which will save a lot of time and work.
